Task and goals

The central task of the commission is the development and implementation of multicenter studies with the aim to gain new scientific knowledge in the field of shoulder and elbow surgery and to verify previous results. In general, ideas can be submitted by any member of the commission, but also from outside. In addition, the commission is committed to supporting young scientists in the development of study ideas, the preparation of applications and the acquisition of third-party funding. This is done in cooperation with the Young Forum, with which joint sessions are also held at the annual DVSE Congress. Furthermore, the Future Workshop, which took place for the first time in July 2021, is accompanied by the commission.
