Maintenance, further development and continuous updating of the endoprosthesis registers as well as the coordination of data evaluation from the registers
The DVSE Endoprosthesis Register collects basic and scientific data on implantations of shoulder and elbow endoprostheses of the participating centers. In principle, all members of DVSE are entitled to participate. The registry makes an important contribution to ensuring patient safety, quality assurance, quality of outcomes, and compliance with current and future regulatory requirements.
Entry into the SEPR is integrated into the structured continuing education and training concept of DVSE, and participation, frequency and quality of entry are prerequisites for achieving specific levels and certificates.
In addition to scientific questions, the evaluation of the data provides important information on the quality of care in the DACH region and allows comparison with other national registries.

Since January 2022, the new updated version of the input masks of the SPR is online. This was preceded by a multi-stage process of revision and adaptation to current requirements.
Improvement of the register
All participants are encouraged and welcome to contribute as much as possible to the registry. The goal is to have a very high number of documentations of performed arthroplasty implantations of the shoulder and elbow in the DACH region. The quality of the data entered is particularly important.
Since 2015, the SEPR has been funded exclusively by the DVSE e.V..
