German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (DGOU)

The German Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE) is a section of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (DGOU).

The German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (DGOU) is a medical society with around 10,700 members. As an incorporated association, it bundles the objectives and tasks of its two subdivisons, the German Society for Orthopaedics land Orthopaedic Surgery (DGOOC) and the German Society for Trauma Surgery (DGU). Therefore the DGOU represents the interests of orthopaedics and trauma surgery in the fields of research, teaching, further education, training in hospitals and practices as well as in the regulatory framework of health policy.
