International Travelling Fellowship 2017 of the German Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE) e.V.
The German Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE) e.V., a section of the German Society for Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery (DGOOC) as well as of the German Society for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery (DGOU), is awarding an Internationalnal Travelling Fellowship to two foreign doctors from the non-european area, mainly from emerging and developing countries, with the amount of
The scholarships are purpose-bound to the approval for a fellowship in a clinic in Germany, where qualified shoulder and elbow surgery is performed. These include training centers of DVSE e.V. as well as departments (co-) headed by DVSE-certified shoulder and elbow surgeons. The fellowship should be at least for 4 weeks.
Proven interest in shoulder and elbow surgery is a prerequisite for the application. Applicants should also have the potential of influencing and structuring the quality of care in their own country.
The application documents, which may also be submitted by the clinic where the fellowship will be realized, should consist of:
- curriculum vitae
- list of surgeries performed in shoulder and elbow
- clinical and scientific career
- objectives of the fellowship
- desired clinic(s)
